Vision:
Afghani Diplomacy Studies Center (ADSC) is dedicated to being a resource for its members, government officials, policy and decision-makers, business executives, journalists, educators and students, civic and religious leaders, and other interested citizens in order to help them better understand the world and the foreign policy choices facing Afghanistan, the region and other countries.
Mission:
ADSC is an independent, nonpartisan and non-profit organization, think tank, and publisher conducts cutting-edge research and analysis on national, regional and global issues and develops academic programs dealing with diplomacy, strategy and leadership.
ADSC seeks to serve as a bridge among academia, the private sector, civil society and the government, breaking the walls that have traditionally separated them.
Objective:
Founded in 2011, ADSC carries out its mission by:
• Convening meetings, roundtables, debates, seminars, conferences and workshops where governmental officials, members of parliament, young leaders, analysts and prominent thinkers come together with ADSC members to discuss and debate major national, regional and international issues;
• Holding consultative Jirgas and Marakas; the old mechanism to resolve the conflict and solve the crisis in Afghan society;
• Publishing biweekly online analysis journal about Afghanistan, region and world’s major events.
• Producing articles, reports, and books and hold roundtables that analyze government’s policies and make recommendations; and
• Providing up-to-date information and analysis about national, regional and world events and Afghan foreign policy on its website, www.afdiplomacy.af and its quarterly publishing magazine (Afghani Diplomacy) in Pashto, Dari, English and Arabic.
